P3X ECU - Can I swap original ECU immobilizer board into replacement ECU?
Hi,
I have ECU P3X-G01 that is dead. I bought another P3X-G01 that is ok.
My question is:
- Can I remove, from old ecu, immobilizer board and solder into new one and have no check engine light?
Does anyone do that?

It's the ECU for an EJ9 (1.4L, D14A3).
As far as I can tell, OP, no, you cannot. There is good news, though! You should be able to bring your car to the dealership with the replacement ECU, and they should be able to rekey you for it to work properly, without risking breaking the replacement ECU.
