I just bought my first car. 91 CRX si. doesn't run. cranks but its not getting any fuel or spark. I put a brand new distributor on it. changed the main relay and the computer, both of which i know work (tested them on another CRX) im not getting power past the distributor.

 

How are your grounds looking?

 

Sorry I made an account to try and learn more about cars im pretty inexperienced. If im assuming correctly your talking about ground straps? and how many are there and where are they located? I didn't know they could keep my car from starting.....

 

Welcome to Honda-tech! A lot of guys are going to give you crap about "why don't you try searching", but have no fear!

We were all inexperienced once before. I find most of my issues with cars on google. The hardest part is asking the right question..

Also check whether one of the ECU fuses is blown and resolder the main relay.
