Default Honda civic FN2 timing chain?

Right, to cut a long story short…. i purchased a 2008 honda civic type r FN2 about a month ago. The car had 40k on the clock. Within 5 days the engine management light came on. turns out it had a stretched timing chain and it was throwing the crank shaft position sensor and the cam shaft position sensor out of sync. Garage refused to fix as it wasn't covered under warranty! Whats done is done and i just want it fixed now. Will an ep3 type r (k20A2) timing chain kit fit or not? Some on ebay say they will and some don't mention it. Im literally just about to purchase one and could do with knowing as i can get an ep3 one much cheaper and they look exactly the same. Thanks for reading and i hope to here from someone soon.

Try to get the part number from the EP3 one and the FN2 one from Honda... if it has the same part number then yes!

If not then I would strongly advise you get the FN2 one so you don't have another headache
