Default TDC Sensor R/R WITH ABS Module in the Way

2002 Civic EX with ABS. I'm changing the TDC sensor and about at wits end.

Bumping around I found a couple how-tos that shows how to change the TDC sensor. No problem. But all of them are for an LX w/o ABS!

I'm half way into the job and got the sensor off but it is a boogerbear trying to 1) get the sensor into position, 2) whilst getting the bolt into place 3) praying that it (the bolt) doesn't drop into the lower part of the engine.

This would all be INFINITELY easier if the ABS modulator wasn't in the way. So here's the question: is there a work-around or technique to doing this with the damn ABS modulator in the way? OR should I remove the whole ABS module? (BTW, there seems to be no tutorials/how-to vids for that either).

Those brake lines will take a little CAREFUL bending. Unbolt the ABS unit and gently push it over.
