Easy.

Unbolt the fuel rail, and bingo, injectors are out. It is literally that easy. Go look at the intake manifold and fuel rail and you'll see how easy it really is.

I believe there are 3 nuts that hold the fuel rail to the intake manifold.

hope that helped a bit,

Do you know where I can find a how-to on this?? If not do you know what size sockets i need and is an extension required?? How do the injectors themselvs come out? any trick to it??

I really appreciate your help on this one. ( Iam going to attempt a fuel injector swap with my friend to see if they are the problem)

Thanks in Advance

this is how to change the fuel rail but one more step is to yank the fuel injectors out of the IM.

it is pretty easy just take your time, have a shop towel to catch the little excess gas, and be patient

hope this helps

i heard that there is a a little screen in front of each injector and if you take that off, you get a little boost in power. has anyone done this, and if so will this effect your motor in any day. any possible problems related to this maybe. oh ya, i have a 00 si
thanks

this is on the pressurized side of the fuel injector and i would find it hard to believe removing the screen would have any effect on performance. i would keep them there. theyre there for a reason... to keep crap outta the fuel injector

sorry for the 11 year bump but i figured it was necessary since nobody addressed this

hello,
thank you for updating the post. i myself was wondering what these "plug/screen" things were. would removing them cause it to run rich? i ordered my injectors off of ebay and 3 of them had the screen and the other did not so i installed them withou the screen. i have 1991 civic si.
