Another Turbo Rsx Thread

Has anyone here ever bought those cheap turbo kits off ebay?
I searched "rsx turbo kit" and found multiple kits under $1000.
I know ppl will say they arent reliable but has anyone here bought one?
Im tempted to put one on my car out of curiosity (and the fact that i cant afford something better)
Id be quite happy if i was making 300whp for $2500 installed and tuned..

i love mountian biking....there is a designer in the cycling world named Kieth Bontranger and he came up with this quote many years ago....

"Strong
light
cheap

...........pick any 2"

same kinda goes with car parts...at least race parts....

think about this.....turbos spin at 120,000 rpm and get heated to 1800 degrees F......and you want one cheap.......good luck with that.

ya I thought about it and im hoping I can use all the parts in the kit except the turbo.
for the turbo im thinking a garret gt2876r
or maybe ill just wait (I miss boost)
