Replacing the engine in a 2001 V6. Any Tips?
I just picked up a 2001 EX 3.0 Auto. It has a bad timing belt (stripped off teeth) and rather than fix it, I am just dropping in another J30A that I picked up.
I've replaced/swapped D and B engines in Del Sols and Civics, but haven't even got a manual for the Accord.
Anything special I should know? Is it best to lift it out with the tranny still connected? or do you drop it under? It looks pretty tight.
Thanks.

Changed my search terms around a bit and came up with these two threads:

Thanks to j894 and rig9896 for posting good follow-up to their posts. I think I'm going out the top. It just makes more sense to me.
