Hey everyone i am new to this forums as you can see this is my first post
I have a Honda civic 2002 lx i had my 5 speed manual transmission rebuild
i also got a new clutch from Amazon. The problem i am having is the clutch will not fit onto the transmission the clutch i got is this one EXEDY KHC08 OEM Replacement Clutch Kit is says it will fit a honda civic 2002 lx. My old clutch slides right on do you think the Exedy could be a defected one

 

I recently had trouble with an Exedy OE clutch fitting onto the input shaft of my transmission. I had to work with it , test fitting the disk to the shaft and opening the splines - very slightly - with a fine file. I don't know why this is so, but it was my experience . Not what I expected from an OE clutch....

 

Yea i ended up calling amazon and had them send me a replacement part out and it fit perfect i just sent the other clutch back
