94 civic dx bushings question
All my bushings are shot on my 94 dx looking at a complete replacement of all bushings including trailing arms.
I was looking at replacing the lower arms because im already looking at new upper front arms but once my cart was around 400 before shipping on Rockauto I decided to just look at replacing the bushings because I already have a list of bigger parts to replace.
I was looking at stock bushings on rockauto for about $10-18 a bushing. I also was checking out this kit from Energy suspension
http://m.autopartswarehouse.com/details/Energy_Susp/Master_Bushing_Kit/E121618103G.html
But im unsure if the kit will get the job done completely, anyone have any experience or insight on this subject thay would be willing to help out would be much appreciated.

From: TRILLINOIS....WAY downtown, jerky.
Don't buy general use aftermarket rubber bushings. With only a few exceptions, they're junk.
You can buy them from Honda parts sites...but it will likely be expensive. Try www.bernardiparts.com or hondaautomotiveparts.com.
Hardrace is a good way to go. IIRC, the whole set is like $200ish. You'll need a large (12-20ton or so) press and a LOT of time to do bushings. Set aside a LOT of time.
You'll need to know how to tighten/install rubber bushings. After they are pressed in correctly, you'll have to clock them properly while bolting the arms to the chassis.
Install them meticulously. You only want to do this once.
I would stay away from polyurethane. They're prone to accelerated wear and the ride quality will be appaling.

^^^What he said.
Usually those online honda parts stores have a pretty good discount, sometimes even better than employee discount, but yes oem is typically more expensive but well worth it.
