D15z1 head gasket issues

Default D15z1 head gasket issues

New head gasket but water is drippin down block. I need to know how to go about this problem

Where exactly is the coolant dripping from?

Definitely check where it is coming from... leaking/cracked/split hoses are a likely culprit.

Was anything else replaced with the head gasket?

yeah definitely start by finding the source. there are a lot of hoses back there with coolant flowing through them that could be the culprit. might have gotten cracked during the head gasket replacement process.

I haven't had it checked yet how do I do it at home? And its leaking from the head gasket down the block

Also on this note, was the head sent in to check for warp conditions? No amount of reasonable torque will seal up a warped head.

Good point. I was just thinking that maybe it wasn't torqued *enough*.
