Sup, H-T! I just moved to Pennsylvania and as part of my preparation for the snow and ice, I want to find a functioning tow hook for the back of my 98 Civic hatch.

I have read that most are just for show, but are there any that actually function as a good tow hook and not some aluminum garbage that will bend/break?

As long as its bolted to the frame it should be fine. How long are you towing with this hook?

 

Does the 96-00 hatchbacks not have the built in tow hook on the back underbelly like the 92-95 hatchbacks?

They do, but it's hidden behind the bumper kinda.
