Hey ht just picked up a recaro seat from a guy off craigslist. Looks to be in decent condition I'm going to be using it for my 79 cvcc and judging by the design and strap supports on the bottom I figure it's somewhat period correct to the car and that's what I was shooting for. Only picked up the one seat and I'm trying to get the passenger but I'm not sure what car these came in? Maybe an old BMW or vw? Any help would be greatly appreciated [/URL]

 

Some older recaros came out of vans believe it or not....

 

Damn I didn't know that, I'm not sure if it's a full aftermarket seat or not, the color and material seems like it would be out of a production model vehicle but the style seems a little too aggressive. I dunno any more help would be awesome ht, someone has to have a good idea of what these are out of or model of seat! Thanks again

 

They look like older Recaro Classic C seats possibly from a 80's model mercedes. Search google, they probably came in a few different types of cars.
