Default 96 accord wont start

First off I just want to say I just replaced my timing belt. I checked and made sure everything was put back together right then only took short trips to make sure everything was put back together right.
Later when I was picking up my dad and as I was sitting there for about half an hour, the car sputtered and died. It would not start. It would crank and turn over and seam like it was close to starting but it never did. After about ten minutes of sitting it started right up. On the way home my battery light came on and we lost power steering. We got it to a gas station and it turns out the harmonic balancer had come loose. I'm going back to impact it on but I want to know why it wouldn't start and what I need to fix it.

Another detail my ac leaks. Not all the time I live in Arizona so we only have water in the air like when it's about to rain. I'm just pariniod cause it was humid so maybe it shorted my ecu it does leak on the passenger side. I don't know. I've had so many problems with this car I don't know where to start if you guys can help me that would be great.

That crank pulley really needs to be tight. I think its like 280 ft/lbs. Anyway, assuming you put everyting back together, i would check to make sure you didnt break or lose anything else, including the crank position sensor, that lives behind the pulley. Did the pulley come off all the way..or?

As far as the AC goes, not sure what you mean by the ac leaks? You mean leaking refrigerant? Humidity shouldnt affect the ECM, its sealed. I live in Georgia, where humidity is an unfortunate way of life. Anyway, your post is a little hard to follow, I hope I understood it right.
