There's no such thing as a "relay unit". There's only the relay and the fuse/relay box it goes in. Which one are you referring to? Or are you referring to the actual flasher switch?

hi, i am referring to something that causes that turn lights and emergency lights are not working, but the problem is not the light itself (while locking the car with alarm the lights work)

Well, then I would suspect the combination switch (the piece you actually touch to turn the turn signals on). You need to find a service manual (download, CD or paper) and do the function test on the combination switch.

The problem may be due to the hazard warning switch or the turn signal/hazard relay located in the under-dash fuse/relay box. Can also be a wiring issue. The hazard warning switch is part of the turn signal and hazard warning light circuit.

If the security system/alarm is the Honda accessory alarm, it uses a separate light flasher relay. Many aftermarket alarm unit have the flasher built-in.

That relay says it is for LEDs; so, that is not the part if the problem is the flasher relay.

The U.S. Honda part number is 38300-SE3-013. It looks like a generic relay would be like this:

Hi Matje,

I have been pulling relays out on my V trying to diagnose another problem (i'm trying to locate the reverse light relay on an A/T CRV). Anyway, the relay that you want is the biggest one of the three to the right of the internal fuse box (the one behind the coin compartment). Going from left to right you have a small on for the rear window defroster, to the right you then have the power window relay and below that one (the biggest of the three) you have the turn signal / hazard relay.

Hope that helps!
