Default Porting itr manifold

HT,

What is the biggest a stock b series type r intake manifold inlet can be ported to? I have a 68mm TB I want to get the manifold port matched to, but when I look inside the manifold
It looks as though the IACV inlet would interfere with porting?

Thanks

For stock Type R manifold, its about 67mm or so, anymore and it interferes with the IACV port

I port matched my OEM P73 manifold to 70mm without a problem. I'd say you have till 72mm before it might be a problem.

Thanks, great to know...l while we're on the topic, I have a 68mm omni TB- I wonder if it's too big for my setup- thinking of running a 65-66mm TB- setup is just:

2000 JDM Type R motor, toda rep header, 2.5" mandrel exhaust(thinking of doing 3"), 3" Intake with bpi v-stack, ported type r IM and the throttle body....

Thoughts? Hoping to see around 200whp

You're fine with the TB.

Don't pay any attention to numbers. Some dynos will claim a stockish ITR to make 190+. Real dynos will put them anywhere from 175-185.

Don't worry about what it makes, just enjoy the ride.
