Default catalytic converter question. [emissions]

I'm wondering if a 2001 GSR oem cat(120k KMs) would work on my ej1?
-swapped b16a
-DC 4/2/1 header
-generic fart can (looks like)

Need to pass Aircare/Emissions.
While I wait for my p30 ecu to get here, I'm looking @ other avenues.
Currently running a chipped p06, & running quite rich.
I know oem cats, last longer than aftermarket, & are more restricted.
Should I try this oem, or just go aftermarket?

TIA.

yep. depending on your exhaust setup, some modification may be required, but as far as functionality goes yes.

Aftermarket converters are made of inferior catalysts, and do not hold up for very long. Shorten the life even more with hard driving.

Make sure your exhaust parts are in the correct positions.
