Default 1992 Honda Accord shifting problem

I have a 1992 honda accord with a manual transmission. It is hard to shift into 1st and will not go into 3rd or 5th. It shifts fine into 2nd, 4th, and reverse. I would really appreciate any help.

I am not sure. That could be it but I am not sure. Is there an adjustment and what all is involved with the cables/linkage?

You are going to have to pull the cover from the shifter and start looking. Sounds like one of the cables is either broken or has come off (either at the shifter or trans).
