Accord CF4 SIR MODS
Hi guys, I'm slightly new to this forum, but i joined because am kinda new to the automotive world and would like some advice and help from you veterans.
Its my first car; The Honda Accord CF4 SIR model year 2000, DOHC F20B engine VTEC of course :D TIPTRONIC
I have some simple slightly inexpensive mods i have in mind that i wanna run by you guys so i could get proper guidance. Instead of me buying products that cant fit. Anyway, #1 paint calipers RED #2 install cold air intake, #3 install catback 3.5" - 4" exhaust system #4 install a bit*hing sound system (specifically a subwoofer, amp and tweeters.)
Basically i need you guys to kindly help me figure out what would fit and what wont fit, what would work and what wont work, and what makes sense and what dont make sense.
Lets start with the cold air intake. Ive browsed ebay and amazon and cannot find a clear-cut fit for the cf4, its as if the usa never heard of a cf4 before.
So my first question is, what cold air intake can i buy that would fit this set-up without much modification to the intake pipe or without modification to the intake pipe at all.
Kind Regards,
Junare.

Meh, most brake calipers(especially single piston) are kind of ugly. Unless they are Stop-Tech or Brembos, it is better to not see them.
But it's your car, VHT makes high temp brake caliper paint.
Best thing to do is pull the caliper off, disassemble, clean with Simple Green, tape off all the machined surfaces and then paint.
CF was never in the USA. It is narrower than USDM Accords and closely related to the Japanese Ascot/Torneo. And no USDM 90-02 Accord came with a DOHC. Might look into CAI for Preludes or short rams.
Too big for a two litre. 2.25" would be more than adequate, anything larger would cost power/economy. Measure your current exhaust size, note where there may be impedance to flow, if any, and improve on the current system.
First verify the engine is in its best running condition, and all maintenance items are up to date, timing belt/waterpump/plugs/wires/etc.

Hey guys, an unfortunate accident happened last weekend. I need a new windshield. Do you guys have any on here to sell, or do you know where i could find one? Thanks!
Where are you located to have such a nice accord?
Your best bet maybe to try your luck at an importer like Right Hand Drive Vehicles for Sale - RightDrive - Est 2007

I'm located in the caribbean. Antigua to be exact. i got my accord from japan, has 51000km on it. i found a windscreen loacated in california but wanted to check with you guys first to see if there's one closer to florida because i have a mailbox there. So in other words, i could pay less for shipping.
Ok, so ive done a few small changes for now because of budget, to my car; including changing my muffler tip. My next move is to change my gauge cluster. It annoys me that my current guage lighting is pretty dull, but instead of changing the bulbs alone ive decided to change the cluster after stumbling across the indiglo gauges. Do you guys have any ideas? like what indiglos would be ideal for my cluster? any warnings about switching to indiglo? looking forward to any information u guys might have. Thanks!
