Sorry to hear, I hope you get it back soon...in one piece. All these recent thefts just give me more cause to sleep in my R with my .357

I swear like 4 cars a week get stolen there from Tinsletown...
It's a crooks safe-haven..not good, considering it's a candy store full of nice cars.
I will NEVER go there.

Does anyone know how we can make a counter strike against these theives. The other day I was watching some day time talk show, don't ask why. And there was this guy that catches cheating b/f, g/f, wifes, husbands.

It seems like we could apply the same principal, except when we see one, we'll just bring out heavy metal bars, bats, and anything else that will leave a good scare, and beat the **** out of them like there was no tomorrow.

Crazy, I just parked my car at Legacy movie theater last night. Start pulling out your ECU everytime you leave. People think its funny that I carry my ECU into school, work, movies, etc. Better safe than sorry.

BTW, sorry about your car. Plano is becoming a target for cars nowadays.

How accessible is the plug? Do you need to remove any panels to get to it? Sounds like a good idea... How exactly are they getting in through the electric door locks? My friend's civic got his driver door key hole drilled out... is that the same deal?

You can just remove the plastic cover around the door handle and the switch screws to that panel/cover. Unscrew the switch, detatch the wiring and plug up the hole. No more access.

They gain access by wedging something at the top of the window or pull back the top of the door and use a hanger to pull up on the electric switch. If you don;t like a hole in the plastic cover, get a cover from a '94 RS Integra and swap it out for a cleaner look. They didn;t come with power locks so there is no hole.

the other day I left my keys in the car luckly for me I have CAA so I called them and the tow truck arrived so he asked me the specs on my teg and I told him its a 94 RS no power locks and he told me its harder to access the door lock from the inside because of no power locks, and sure enough he was struggling it took him almost 20 minutes to open it up and he's a pro... then my friend who has a 95 gsr with power locks also locked his keys in the car he too called CAA and they literly opened his car in less than a minute

Build a garage. Seems like the best deterrent, but still not safe.

And make sure you booby trap the hell out of it!

So that explains the dent on the door frame on my passenger side that looked like someone wedged a screw driver in there and tried prying my door open... I noticed it washing my car a few days ago, dents and scraped off paint about 2cm in diameter... grrrrr
