Hi guys, first post in this forum I'm a new memeber. If their is a better place I can post this question let me know.

So my valves made a lot of noise, so I adjusted them to spec with the shims, for every cylinder I set the piston to tdc. And my valves are still loud, I did it again with my buddy who is a mechanic looking over my shoulder, and they still make noise. What could cause them to not shutup? Thanks!

 

It's probably your Lost Motion Assemblies (LMA's). They get dirty and clack. Honda says they are not serviceable but they actually can be cleaned up.
