I have a 2002 Honda CRV AWD with some serious issues. About a month ago the car was misfiring, we changed the spark plugs to no avail. We then had a second (within 2 weeks) oil change using premium oil and replacing the filter. Still the car would not stay idling. A bunch of codes came up pointing to the solenoid and oil pressure switch, which we replaced, still not running/idling. We eventually put dry gas in and cleaned off the Variable Timing Control valve and the car ran fine for almost a week including an 8 hour round trip vaca. Then the problem came back. We replaced the VTC valve (all parts from Honda) and the car ran OK for a minute, but then the engine light came on and at moderate to fast acceleration the car seemed to lose power/buck/hesitate. This happened yesterday. Today the car won't even idle/stay running, back to square one. ANYONE HAVE ANY SIMILAR EXPERIENCES OR ADVICE? Frustrated.
