Hey guys. I'm having an issue with my AC and fans. I have an F20b in a 2000 accord. What's happening is, my AC isn't working properly.

When the AC button is activated, then the AC is off, when the AC button is off, then the AC starts the blow cold. It's simply backwards.

When the AC is blowing cold, the fans don't kick on, then the car starts to idle really low and rough, it will even stall sometimes.

The fans will only kick on when the engine temperature reaches 205 degrees, at that point the idle will even out. Once the temperature drops and both of the fans turn off, the idle is rough again.

Any ideas?

Youve gotten something backwards. You need to figure out what the ECM does to turn on the compressor. Either it closes a contact and completes the ground...and energizes the solenoid. Or it closes the contact and completes teh 12V to teh solenoid. Sounds like youve gotten one of the wires backwards.

get a good print...so you can trace back the compressor wires...and then see where the problem is. It may also be a pressure switch, that is actuating backwards(Possibly a normally open and should be a normally closed)
