Default ignition conundrum

My '90 accord recently quit running - no spark - after a recent visit to the dealer. I have replaced the distributor, alt, plugs, wires, etc. after R&Ring the engine to reseal. tried swapping the ECU with a known good, problem didn't go away or transfer to my other '90 Honda, I cleaned all of the connections & added dielectric grease, still happens, all grounds are clean & tight, just before the engine dies, the tach goes wacky, Crankshaft position sensor, maybe?

Is it throwing any type of codes? Also did you check the voltage coming out of the battery?

I had a similar issue with my accord, I swapped the battery and haven't had a problem since. Also I would check all power wires and make sure that they are all solid and have no corrosion. If there is corrosion I would recommend having some one with intense electrical experience fix the issue for you as if not done properly it can cause more problems

I would say position sensor, but i thought in these early models, the CPS was in the distributor.
