You can find a set of $500~ Rotas with tires in the classifieds...

I honestly wouldn't do the e-bay exhaust, as they are likely APC or Toucan or some junk **** like that...

And the Landspeed coilovers? Hope you feel like buying a new set next year...

Save for an alarm, then a motor.

spend 250 on a sub box and head unit, and the other 250 on a gun for when your car gets broken into and looted in the future

I was serious about the alarm. Get your bad a system, then when it gets stolen you're going to wish you had an alarm. I dont mean a $1200 top of the line model, but something good.

dont do it....i suggest you get a set of skunk2 or groundcontrols for 300, then get a muffler and some piping done then your set. still in your budget and you get the good ****.

Raise that goal to 10ft first. Can't learn free throws on a 8ft bent rim

Then some ground controls and some 14" steelies with ex hubbies Makes it look 10 times better!

If i was you i would probally lower it with springs or whatever coilovers, get an alarm and paint those wheels black or else jsut get some hub caps for them...Hub caps seem to always make a car look clean and OEM especially when lowered....make a ghetto intake or somethign just to have fun with lol....
good luck

Coilovers - waste, unless you know how to align your car after every adjust.
Exhaust, for your SOHC? Not worth it.

I would really suggest, H&R springs, and Koni yellow sturts. I am getting my 92 vx hatch tomarrow, I already have on order, a set of h&r stage 3 race springs and koni yellows, all for $180, I have connections though where I work. I'm not putting any money into the current engine, just oil changes and random replacement work, then saving for C1 or B16.

Week end plan, gut interior, detail. I'm looking forward to it!
