Default heater core gurgling

What's up ht I own a 97 ek for the past few days I noticed my car started to overheat and herd a gurgling noise coming from behind my dash. Took a look and noticed to what I think is my heater core leaking coolant inside my car. Not a lot of fluid but still leaking and gurgling and after 15 mins of driving I start to overheat. Not all the way at first but it slowly goes up. Car has new water pump timing belt oil filter and ignition system what could be the problem? Is my heater core bad or is it something else?
