Skunk2 Ultra Street manifold, spacers?
Hi, does anyone make spacers for the street manifold? I have a mildy built b20v (endyn formula circa early 2000's) that I'm reconsidering this purchase on. I had read in the other thread about myth busting the short runners and big plenum volume.
I'm considering making my own if they aren't available. I believe I can almost double the streets plenum volume by adding my own 2" spacer. I was thinking of using polypropylene as it's much cheaper than having a custom aluminum piece made up for something I'm not sure will even seen gains.
But it makes sense right that it would work and be better?
I'm stuck on this and cams before hitting the dyno. Maybe I should have just bought the race but I'm looking for more mid range then peak hp.

I'd be interested in seeing a test, or even pitching a couple bucks in to try it out. Ive always thought the street version would benefit bigger motors with roughly .75-1 more liter of volume
My guesstimate math says by adding a 2" spacer would add near 2 liters of volume. Ideally, 1.5 times the liters of the engine.

That's pretty awesome. If my shitty math is correct working off a spare gasket in front of me using a digital caliper, 4 of these or a 2" spacer is approximately 1.356 cubic liters. + 1.82 from the skunk2 manifold = 3.176 which is a nice bump, near ideal if you're looking for 1.5 times the volume of the engine.
How much for a 2" spacer?

I calculated 0.35 liters per 1/2" spacer so 2" would be 1.4 liters. Please pm me about pricing as I am not a vendor here. These ones are already spoken for but I am planning another, larger run next week.
So has there been any progress on getting these out?
I'll be using a Ultra street on my build and this spacer along with the planned porting job would help quite a bit.

We've done some testing on NA cars - Anything bigger then a 3.5L loses some power. The K series seems to like the bigger plenum spacers.. I'd assume a Turbo car would gain some power as well.
Yeah likely too much velocity loss so cylinder filling isn't quite what it should be. I figured somewhere right around 2.7-3.1 L would keep my B20 nice and happy
Im working on it. Just taking much longer than I had expected.
This manifold is only 1.82 liters to start so I believe there is some room for improvement on a lot of applications.
