Default 800+ No Sleeve Track Build-MITFTW

Hey HT, I figured its time to start a build thread. The shell is going to be a 1990 dx hatch that I got from a friend. I would like to have it finished by Import vs. Domestic. I'd like to run in true street. Shooting for 9s

Build plans consist of
GSR Head (sand blasted/cleaned up)
ITR cams with BWR cam gears
Supertech Flat Faced Valves
Supertech Dual Valve Springs
Supertech Retainers
Supertech Keepers
Supertech Valve Stem Seals
Skunk2 LMAs
Victor X
Q45 Throttle Body
Q45 Throttle Body Conversion
Thermal Intake Manifold Gasket
Bosch 2000cc Injectors
Hondata COP

GSR Block 81.5mm
CNC Werx C.S.S.
ARP Headstuds
ARP Main Studs
Manley H Beams
JE Pistons 10.5 cr
ACL Main and Rod Bearings
Moroso Oil Pan
New Oil Pump
New Water Pump
New Gates Timing Belt
New Tensioner

Borg Warner S372
Sheepey or Tempest Top Mount
Single 60mm waste gate
Tial 50mm BOV
3" Charge Pipes
Backdoor Intercooler
Hood exit

GSR LSD Cable Transmission- In pieces currently
3.07 1st Gear
Full Rebuild with Carbon Synchros
Speedfactory Hardened Shift changer
Spec or Clutch Master clutch...not sure yet

I acquired D2s along the way and will be using them.

Still need a lot

I'm a tech at Toyota and daily a 8th gen.

The shell had a terrible wiring problem. I picked a fresh cabin harness and bought the Rywire budget harness. As it sits...

All the interior is gone. I picked a fresh black crx dash and teg leathers. More updates to come

Why even have a dash? haha. Just bolt a tunerview to the firewall on a piece of aluminum or something.

Good luck with it though. Definitely interested in seeing it. I've heard good things about the CSS.

So clean!

CRX dash mock up
Quick rant
The hatch is pretty clean; minor rust (will be fixed)
OEM paint... Plans to repaint it the same color, but spice up the bay a little.
Hatch already has rear disk. Stopping power = Blanks with EBC pads and steel braided lines. Will be on 13x8 Diamond Racing Steelies with 24"s and skinnies.
FCS triple core for cooling unless funding supports a tucked radiator. Jegs 10 gallon fuel cell. FTW fuel will be used.

Found it, thanks. These are the rules I am familiar with, just never looked at the interior rules very much! LoL.

Interesting, I'm on OGS' website right now and all it has is "ALL MOTOR" and "SWFD"... where are the rules for All Motor street?

I have a CSS block build going on right now as well. Jeff is a great guy to work with.

Never thought about that. The Hondata sticker has been on there 2 years? with no problems. Knock on wood! But Thank You.

It took me a sec. to get it as well. Hahaha
Wouldn't it be nice to just have a cluster and driver seat...

Always talking about CSS, I think it was a pretty good deal. I got the finishing work done by my local machine shop. It came decked already. Quick turn around time Not to familiar with rules...pretty much want a full race car with slight streetability. All motor street sounds like 10.5,11.5 index action. Which would be super fun...pretty sure you can be as light as you want WITH lexan and ****.

Block assembled!
Ring gap
Bearing clearances
Gato Built - MITFTW

Head ready to be torqued down.
Block complete minus ATI damper!

Any suggestions?

That was a turbo I was considering as well. hard to beat for the money. I don't think it will make 800 to the wheels, but more like 7-750hp. Still a lot of turbo for under $700. the fmw67 is another good choice, same power output as the s372 with a little better spool. same size though.
