Default bogging at WOT....

b18a1, bogs horrible at wide open throttle....

starts first try just fine. can drive normal etc, but as soon as i floor the pedal, it just falls flat on its face. i can baby my rpms up all the way, but if i try and floor it then it just bogs badly. any ideas?

*new distrib, old and new both do same symptom, had warranty so figured why not swap
*new plugs, have a lil oil from valve seals but still white and spark fine
* my oem fpr the vac line smells bad like fuel, and was bogging at 3k rpms. tossed my adjustable aem fpr on set within stock psi, and it only bogs at WOT now, which tends to be 5k rpm range
* tps measues .44v closed 4.78v open, i have a new 1 but not installed
*map sensor, new 1 not installed, doubt its the problem
*fuel filter, 4 months old, doubt its clogged already

what could it be? blown out injectors? car runs,idles,drives fine, just w0t it bogs bad. seeing a lot of post on this subject but dont think it answers my problem. distributor already eliminated as the problem, and tps i can toss new 1 on and adjust for ***** and giggles i guess. as for a weak fuel pump, idk...

any suggestions are appreciated

I had this problem when I converted my hatch to obd-1. soon as I went wot it would lose all power and bog down. Try switching the 2 outside wires at the tps sensor and report back. That's what fixed my problem when I had this issue.

fixed it earlier today. figured id update lol. so we all drive hondas.... and its always the stupid **** .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ................ took my intake off when measuring tps/map sensors and started the car w/o putting it back on. took it for a drive around the neighborhood and no problems lol

4 month old air filter..... thing looks pratically new still until u look close, every single indent has dust and pollen ... had the filter tucked between right headlight/half rad fan, so i guess the rad fan really clogged it to the point the car wasnt getting enough air at wot.... live and you learn i guess, gotta mess with my fpr again cause top end suffering atm

and ye iv heard about the tps problem. not quite sure i understand why switching the 5v constant with the wire that goes from .45v closed to 5v open though. atleast obd0 is great other then tuning, practically no sensors no check engine codes etc. gotta love it lol
