Default 91 civic dx

Hello I have a 91 civic DX I'm trying to get new wheels for it it has 175 70 13 on it now and I'm trying to find out if 195 55 15 will fit without rubbing because I found the wheels but don't wanna buy tires for them if there just going to rub can someone help me?

you 'found' 15 inch wheels and want to know if the 195 55 15 tire will work?
A 195-50-15 or 205-50-15 is typical. The '55' tire is a little taller so if you are lowered it might be something to consider.
People DO run the '55' without issues.

P195/50R15, 22.72 inch height
P205/50R15, 23.11 inch height

P195/55R15, 23.43 inch height

The width is what I'm worried about because its like an inch or so wider idk if its going to rub when I turn or not

Idk if there to big for my civic because it comes stock with 13s

Width of a 205 tire works. 195 would be even smaller.

You really need to decide on a rim. The offset will play a dramatic role in rubbing or not.
