hi guys i am thinking to get this header or the PLM TA ( toda replica) but i want to know if some one have experience whit the RMF v2 megaphone. my engine is a b18c1 whit p30 piston 82mm b16 head supertech flat valve BC Springs and Titanium Retainers skunk2 tuner 2 cams. here are some photo

 

Are they selling this header yet? These are the only two pictures I've ever seen of it. I'd be interested to see a comparo.

 

I don't think there is a header out there, off the shelf, that makes the power the toda does on 1.8's.

that is not a RMF header

the only company with the real RMF jigs is Whitfield

 

i think is a replica of the RMF narrow header but with the megaphone the megaphone really make any different ?

 

It has larger primaries, it will make more power on a 2 liter than any other RMF style header. The megaphone helps, but the pipe size is the biggest factor.

 

my pipe is 2.5 " with out catalytic , resonator

 

What's the primaries diameter ? Does anyone know ?

 

RS Machines also make RMF headers, I could've sworn David at RS was the one who bought the jigs from Randy before he passed... I've personally seen the the jigs at RS, but that was a long while back.

 

Randy was an employee at RS. Wouldn't RS own the equipment, including the jigs.

 

1320 Performance Store: the primaries are same size all the way to the merge collector we tested few different setup this one yield more gain than staggered setup but on SMSP and TRi-Y header the staggered primaries make more gain.

RS machines has nothing regarding headers in their products page. However, if you look at Whitfield, who knew randy very very well, you will see them selling Randy's design all built in house unlike the junk posted here.

I run the toda replica and it is nice..But I'm about to go b20 vtec so dont know if I will keep the toda or sale and get different set up. Its currently on my stroked poor mans
