SO my buddy has a 97 prelude with the auto transmission with the bump shifter. When the car is cold it shifts decent. Once it warms up it randomly slips going into a few gears, the gears it slips in are kinda random. And it does this if you use the bump shifter or with it just in drive. Auto transmission arent my thing so im not sure what would be the issue.

Maybe needs some new auto transmission fluid to prevent slipping?

 

97-01 prelude automatic are known to fail. google it. They are the **** transmissions.
