Hi,

I want to know if is possible to put a 97 AT trannys on a 98 f2x?

Is it plug and play?

why 97 trans? 1998-2002 is same generation and any of those should work

If I remember correctly, the 97 and earlier were controlled by a combination of TCU and cable, while the 98 and up were controlled entirely by the TCU. I am not sure what it would take to change to the earlier one.
