Ok so a 3/8 ratchet is in standard measurement. But in Europe and Asia do they still call it a 3/8 ratchet? Or would they call it XXmm ratchet?

You needed to post this before you tried looking it up yourself? I'm also going to guess you were absent on the metric to standard conversion math days back in elementary school.

 

Haha i was not asking what 3/8 is converted to. I was wondering if mechanics in Europe, Asia, anywhere that uses metric call it a 3/8 ratchet, so im guessing they call it a 9.5mm ratchet? Think you misinterpret my post

 

Maybe YOU don't get it. 3/8" converted to millimeters is 9.52500 millimeters. It's one and the same thing. The FIRST Google search I did using the term "what is a 3/8" ratchet called in the UK" gave me the same link as in post #2 which calls it a...wait for it...9.525mm Drive.

Or maybe you thought is was gonna be called a Royale with cheese?
