I am in the planning stages for a Civic build when I return to the US next year. I am wondering, those of you who have purchased JDM front clips, where did you purchase from, what did you purchase and how much did you pay?

I am just trying to get a ballpark because I don't want to have to try and pack it out with my move if I don't have to.

 

What year is the vehicle?

You will purchase from a JDM importer. Same guys who sell JDM engines and transmissions. Try to purchase locally to avoid insane shipping costs.

If you live in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) I recommend JDM Tiger Japanese.

 

I don't have a vehicle at the moment but the plan is to do a 96-98 Civic Type-R.

Thank you for the advice, I am currently living in Japan so there is still a part of me that wants to buy it here and put it in my pack out.

 

If you can buy the car than do it, pull the swap and ship it separately. Doing it this way you will have everything you need to do your front end conversion, as well as make some pocket change if you decide to not keep certain things.
