so my car is a 99 accord and I replaced the EGR valve and the O2sensor then deleted the codes couple days later. checked it 3months later and was still reading those two codes........... does anyone know why??????

 

something is fouling ur O2 sensor and EGR valve. its likely exhaust related

 

Did the check engine light come back on after you had replaced them or are you saying you had no check engine light on and scanned it and they popped up? They may have been set as hard codes which take numerous warm up cycles to remove them from memory

 

@accordturb96.... no the check engine like wasn't on when I scanned for codes, maybe they are hard codes
