ITR intake on a 4th gen?
Hi guys,
Would a type-R intake fit on a 4th hatch? What modifications are necessary? I've heard only good things about the ITR intake, that's why I'd like to fit it on my hatch.
Thanks

"Intake" can be kinda vague... Are you talking about the CAI (like an AEM) or the actual intake manifold? One is is the filter/pipe assembly before the throttle body and the latter is the manifold after the throttle body/before the head.
If you have a B16, yes people like the Type-R intake manifold since its much larger and just bolts on to the head. You need to drill/machine if you have a B18C1. And don't bother asking if you have a D-series.
If you were thinking CAI and the guy was selling an ITR intake manifold, that is probably why price difference. I think ~$250 for the ITR manifold is the going rate...
