Please chime in if you can help...this is my only car and daily driver.....

Was driving this morning and then parked car. Got out for a few minutes and tried to start it and it wouldn't start.

-I turned key and I only heard a "click" under the dash
-Car won't crank at all (doesn't even try to crank)
-Still appears to have charged battery as radio/lights work fine

Is this:

1. Bad starter
2. Bad Main Relay
3. What else would this be??

Does your fuel pump prime? And is the *click* from the engine bay or dash?
If so then tap your starter and see if it will try to crank the motor, when my GSR did this I replaced battery and starter (needed a battery anyway) hope this helps!

 

Also don't rule out your battery just yet, lights/radio don't need very much battery power to work.

Also....if the main relay was bad Wouldn't the car still NOT RUN if I push started it?

I just push started it again.

 

Ok... So, the issue was the wire going to the solenoid backed off the connector. I pushed it back on and bingo car started.

 

... Damn wires lol

 

Yep!

I pushed started my car 3 times when all I had to do was push the 1 wire back on. It looked like it was on due to the wire covering... Returned starter to store got my $120 back
