Filng the radiator daily?
There are no leaks and the puke tank is always at a normal level. Why then must I fill the radiator on a daily basis? I'm using coolant and distilled water. Shouldn't the puke tank give to radiator as needed? The hoses are fine...the fluid bubbles when squeezed. What's going on with this 92 Honda Accord? This has been going on for months now. Any suggestions? (short on cash)
It could also be leaking near a heat source so it's turning into steam immediately. Had a pipe wrap around a head for another vehicle and it was dripping on the exhaust manifold. No puddles on the ground.
guessing you mean you don't have a leak that leaves a puddle.
Obviously you do have a leak. I once had a leaking heater core that leaked under the console and ran to the rear seat.
How much are you loosing a day?
The tank is an expansion tank. The normal function is for expanding coolant to go to the tank then return. In large part this requires that no air be in the expansion tube attached between the radiator and tank. With a big air pocket it won't pull coolant back.
