Default Intake nut/bolts rusted and won't undo!

What can I do to get this intake cover (the black box) to come off?? I am trying to check the filter lol. It's a 97 Accord LX. Half the 'snorkel' of the intake that goes into the fender is missing and the intake box itself is cracked and broken. I am about to just order an ebay intake to get rid of this crap

Pull the whole box?

If memory is correct, the lower part of the air cleaner (remove the mounting bolts) just press fits to the resonator assy.

On a 95 I had several of the bolts were rusted out. I just used a zip tie to hold the top to the bottom. Yea, every what 30K miles I would have to cut the zip ties off, change the filter and then new ties.

Salvage yards are full of intakes. So go to your favorite pick-and-pull and just toss the one you have.
