Safe to use GSR Crank Pulley on ITR?
Hello H-T, I've read a few articles through the search function, but have not found a solid answer.
My dilemma: Picking up an ITR swap, but the owner decided to put an aftermarket pulley on it (Ran for 2 months, then totaled the car). I refuse to run this pulley even though it still has grooves for A/C and P/S. I have access to a GSR crank pulley, but I would have to buy a ITR pulley new since I cant find one used. I just want to be on the safe side with this motor. Will I be okay with the GSR pulley? Thanks.

I could be wrong, but I think the ITR pulley is just a bit under driven for the higher RPM capability of that engine. You should be fine with a GSR pulley. In any even the ITR pulley is about $20 cheaper than the GSR if you do purchase new.
Professional Products makes stock replacement ones for both gs-r and itr sizes btw. Available from Summit, et al. I have about 45k on mine and it's doing just fine.
Thanks for the replies everyone, I'll run the GSR pulley (it'll be free). Atleast for the moment, and I may get a professional products pulley in the future. Because I did read about the ITR pulley being slightly smaller, and under driven.
