Default Placement of Honda Bond/RTV??

Hey guys, about to do a valve adjustment among other things. Got a new valve cover gasket as well as spark plug tube seals/gromments because there was oil in my spark plug tubes.

So in the manual it says to put liquid gasket in the corners of where it arches up to go over the camshafts. Should the liquid gasket go over or under the actual "rubber" gasket. To be perfectly clear, by over, I mean in between the "rubber" gasket and the head. By under, I mean in between the "rubber" gasket and the valve cover. Or both?

Maybe this is wrong, but it seems like putting it under the gasket could affect how the gasket seals???

Thanks.

I personally place a thin bead along the entire surface of head where the gasket meets the head. But I HATE leaks so I'm a little **** about it...
