ITR OEM wheel on 97 accord ?!
Okay guys im new to this forum stuff. I really wanna install a ITR DC2 OEM non srs wheel into my 97 accord. Yes, I've read around the forum but all I seem to get is "94-01 integra 29 spline and 94-97 accord 29 spline". But I have also seen people say to get a s2k wheel BUT the forum says it's a 33 spline ? How is that possible. I'm so confused and I really just want a TypeR wheel , please help
not too many people here doing mods, mainly repair work. u would likely be the first. try it and see if it fits or get a S2000 wheel which u know will fit. i bet S2000 wheel is more common than ITR
Yes I have read the FAQ and it says 94-95 has 33 and that itr and 97 accord have the same 29. That's why I'm hoping it will work. But it's just weird cause it also says the s2000 wheel is perfect for 97 accord even though it is 33 spline ..
There's a bunch of users over on HondaSociety that have '94/95 vehicles and have used the same wheels and hubs as '96/97.
And if you look at NRG's site -
https://www.getnrg.com/products/quic...t-hub/srk-130h
They list it as compatible with the 94+ Accord, no break down by year. The S2000 shares the same hub.
The Integra however uses a different setup

Kinda sorta, that one is a tricky topic.

Without fabrication/custom work.
Correct, no ITR wheel.
You can use an EP3/S2000 wheel without issue. Or if you're really deadset on a non-srs wheel that looks similar to the ITR one - it's a MOMO wheel, I'm sure they have a non-Honda one that's similar.

Okay thanks a lot!! Another question: the link you showed me was for a 130h short hub and it says it's also for a ek9 civic. Does that mean I can install, with no issue, a srs OEM ek9 wheel into my 97 accord?
Has anyone here installed or has attempted to install a ek9 TypeR OEM srs steering wheel into a 97 accord ? NRG says 130h short hub fits both cars. Curious to see if I can upgrade my OEM accord wheel for this awesome TypeR wheel.

have you done this yourself or you just know someone has done it before?
