I just got a 89 prelude and I am planning on either rebuilding or just popping in a motor. I would like to know what motor I can get that will work perfect with my prelude.

 

how much money can you spend?

 

I would say about $1000+ would this motor work?89-91 (SiR-1) Engine
And does it come with all that stuff the ECU, Transmission ect..
I saw it in that osaka site it seems like a good deal.

Cool but I am not really familiar with Honda engines my friend is, so I guess he will help me out with the swap. He drives a 89 Civic with a Integra Engine swap. This is my first Honda in the past I have been driving an Eclipse 2g. I just got board of it and to many mitsu problems so I just got rid of it I had an RS so it was slow with a few mods it was still slow offcourse the weight didnt help.

Does anyone know what kind of HP output the 89 prelude had when it was first produced?

And were can I get a B16
