bought my son 02 honda accord coupe SE. 64,000 miles last mo. Since then, check engine has come on at least 4x, every time we take back to place of purchase there are repairs - so far vapor canister, purge valve and now vacuum hose to canister have all been replaced. check engine light is on AGAIN!! is this a major problem i should be worried about? warrant is up in 2 wks and rate this has been I am sure engine light will come on again.

 

it sounds like you have just had minor vacuum issues -not much to worry about- old cracked lines or wet rainy conditions with your car sitting outside if it does.

if you are worried about getting worked over at the place you bought the car - just take it to autozone and get the error codes for free and post them

 

Im guessing youre throwing the p1457 ?
