i was checking through hondaautomotiveparts.com and looking up part numbers. can somebody double check for me because the 92-95 cx and dx bottom ends are coming up with the same part numbers. i thought they were different?

 

the block its self is the same but some CX's had pistons that didn't have reliefs cut for 16 valves. only 8.

 

that's what i thought, but even the piston part numbers are listed the same on the hondaautomotiveparts.com site i thought. hmmm.

my cx motor has reliefs for 16 valves but i have seen others that only have cuts for 8.

 

hmmm, well i don't know how i'm gonna find out aside from tearing the head off. any other ideas? thanks for all the quick reply's.

which head did you put on? was there a noticable difference? did you like it? sorry for all the questions..hehe.
