Default Stroker D16

Before I get any farther into my planning, can I use my stock ODB2 ecu with a D17 crank and pistons?
I tried searching with some key words but I haven't found anything, is it possible to just use my stock one? The compression would be about the same.

I've read about b18 ecu's running b20s, a little lean yeah but those had 138cc difference, this one would be only 73cc.
Our motors come from Honda running a little rich anyways, wouldn't this be possible?
Maybe get a FPR and gauge if needed?
Thanks

Anything besides a stock motor should be tuned.

Yeah buy if the Comp is almost the same, just a little longer stroke.

....tune it. Changing stroke will shift the power band which will shift fueling/timing maps.
Hell even a stock motor from the factory can benefit from a tune. Why ask if you just want to argue about it and have your mind made up?

Just get a basemap chrome tune from rywire or something. Its so close, a basemap should run it fine.
Sounds like cost may be a factor for you, which is why I'm suggesting this. Of course Hondata or EMS is the way to go if cost isn't a concern

Curious what your reasoning is for stroking it out?
