Engine Swap
central location: google.com. mainly what u would need is to find out what components are compatable and what ECU to use. 93 accord i think is OBD0 where 96 would be OBD1 or 2. but the things like the power steering lines and A/C lines might not match and u would have to use either old lines or the new ones. this is important to know before u swap
You could take a look in the engine swap section of the Accord FAQ?
The OBD2 96 F22B2 2.2L engine will drop right into the 93 OBD1 chassis. However, the intake and exhaust manifolds are different. You will need to use the 96 intake and exhaust manifolds. There is one other thing I can think of right now. The distributor. You will want to keep the OBD1 distributor from your 93 and fit it to the 96.
These sort of swaps have been covered in some detail in the swaps section.

Yes it will fit in the 93 .the 93 is obd1 you can use the stock ecu unless it's an vtec motor your installing in the 93 .the other thing is you'll have to modify the fuel line (extend it ) to reach the filter I had an single v in my 91dx
