i have a 90 civic si with a ZC swap. i just got from a guy recently. its getting terrible mpg right now, about 14 to be exact. car runs pretty normal though, except on a cold start (vehicle has been sitting for several hours) it cranks several times beffore starting. any help on this is appriciated.any ideas on the cause? i was gonna try cleaning air filter and checking spark plugs maybe.

 

I'm guessing it's running rich. Any CEL codes?

 

yesterday i noticed the cel flickered on and off on my way into town. hasn't really done it since.

 

On the same boat. Im getting 18 mpg. They told me to check the timing, clean the injectors, new o2, full tune up, and check tps and fpr

Edit: i forgot to mention mine sometimes smells like raw fuel when im driving though
