1999 Accord EX-V6 AC Blower is Intermittant
My AC blower will sometimes not work then after a couple minutes it works with all speeds. Could this be the resistor or the motor ? I also have an issue with the Auto Climate control changing modes but that was happening before the blower issue.
Possibly may be the blower motor.
If you want an easy way to test that the blower motor works:
1. Locate the blower power transistor under the passenger dash.
2. Unplug the electrical connector to the transistor unit.
3. Attach a jumper wire (short piece of wire) from the terminal no. 4 Blue/Red wire cavity to the terminal no. 5 Black wire cavity on the unplugged electrical connector. Leave the connector unplugged.
4. Turn the ignition ON, does the motor run?
