Default B16a2 all motor build

New here and looking for some advice or opinions I have a b16a2 I'm planing on going all motor so far it's a stock b16a2 type r tb, dc headers, chipped p72, in the process of getting my intake mani and head p&p I kept the p30 im because I have heard they flow just as good as type r and the old skunk2s which are identical but I've also ordered skunk2 pros stage 2s, skunk2 springs and retainers, and skunk 2 lma I'm just looking to run this on my stock b16 block and was wondering clearances with the valves and if it's possible to shave my head and get thinner headgasket to bump c/r and this winter coming up I'm planning on building a b20 block to put in lsv over the winter and wanted to kno opinions on building the b20 for this and I still want to run 93 pump gas lol

93 pump gas is fine as long as you have it tuned on a dyno.

Look into the RS machine 84-85mm ITR pistons if you're on a budget. If not, I recommend Wiseco pistons. CP, and Arias are also good.

Nobody can tell you clearances of your motor except your builder. That being said, if you stay under 12:1 and you are using pro 2 cams you will PROBABLY be ok on P2V and V2V.

Don't even bother with the B16, spend that money on your B20 build.

If you really want to go cheap, you can put your B16 pistons into a LS bottom end and get a LS/VTEC kit and you'll have a great motor for next to nothing. LS bottom ends can be found for under $500.

Sure, but don't expect much running a built head on a low compression, small bottom end.

Talk about "peaky" power lol. I bet he'll make power past where the stock bottom end will stay together
